Our Story

Great African Safari was founded on the belief that travel can - and should be a transformative force for good. The landscapes of East Africa, its wildlife, and its communities have given the world immeasurable beauty. We believe it is our responsibility to give back in full.

Our safaris are deeply personal, carefully crafted journeys that connect you to the region’s most extraordinary places: the thunder of the Great Migration, the quiet majesty of mountain gorillas, the warmth of village communities, the stillness of ancient landscapes. But what makes a Great African Safari truly unique is what happens after your trip.

Just as Newman’s Own pioneered a “give every dollar back” model, we take the same philosophy to travel. 100% of our after-tax dollars are returned to African communities and conservation efforts - supporting education, local enterprises, wildlife protection, and sustainable tourism programs across the region.

When you travel with us, your journey becomes part of a larger story, one of empowerment, preservation, and purpose. You don’t just experience Africa’s wonders. You help ensure they endure.
