13 Day Best of Uganda with Gorilla Trekking
Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
- Arrive in Entebbe International Airport.
- Transfer to your accommodation in Entebbe for the night to recover from your flight.
Day 2: Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Park
- Early breakfast and drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary Participate in a guided rhino trekking experience to see the endangered white rhinos up close. Lunch at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
- Â After lunch head to Murchison Falls National Park.
- Upon arrival, head to Murchison Falls, one of Uganda's most iconic landmarks, where the Nile River forces its way through a narrow gorge and plunges into the river below.

Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park – Game Drive and Boat Safari
- Morning game drive in Murchison Falls National Park to see wildlife such as elephants, lions, giraffes, and antelopes.
- An afternoon boat cruise to the bottom of Murchison Falls, with opportunities for birdwatching and seeing wildlife along the riverbanks.
Day 4: Murchison Falls to Kibale Forest National Park
- Breakfast at the lodge followed by a morning game drive.
- Drive to Kimable Forest National Park and check into hotel
- Enjoy the evening at leisure at the hotel
Day 5: Kibale Forest – Chimpanzee Trekking
- Early morning chimpanzees trekking in Kibale Forest, home to one of the largest populations of chimpanzees in East Africa.
- Spend 1-2 hours tracking and observing the chimps in their natural habitat.
- Afternoon at leisure or visit the nearby Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for birdwatching.
Day 6: Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park
- Breakfast and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park (approx. 2-3 hours).
- Afternoon boat safari on Kazinga Channel, where you’ll get a chance to see elephants, buffalo, hippos, and an array of bird species, including flamingos.
Day 7: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Game Drive
- Early morning game drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park to spot lions, elephants, buffaloes, and other wildlife.
- Afternoon at leisure followed by an afternoon game drive
Day 8: Queen Elizabeth National Park –
- After breakfast at the lodge, drive to the Ishasha sector to see the famous tree-climbing lions enjoying a game drive along the way.
- Check into the lodge followed by an afternoon game drive.
Day 9: Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
- Breakfast and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (approx. 5-6 hours).
- En route, stop at Kigezi Highlands for breathtaking scenic views.
- Arrive in Bwindi and relax for the night, preparing for the next day’s gorilla trekking adventure.
Day 10: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – Gorilla Trekking
- Early breakfast and set out for gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, one of the best places in the world to see mountain gorillas in the wild.
- Spend 1-4 hours tracking and observing the gorillas, a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
- In the evening, relax at your accommodation or enjoy the stunning forest views.
Day 11: Mgahinga National Park Trekking golden monkeys
- After breakfast, drive to Mgahinga National Park to trek golden monkeys.
- Spend 1-4 hours tracking and observing the monkeys in their natural environment
Day 12: Bwindi to Lake Mburo National Park
- After breakfast drive to Lake Mburo National Park enjoying a game drive on the way to your accommodation
- Check-into the hotel and enjoy the afternoon at leisure, followed by an afternoon game drive.
Day 13: Return to Entebbe
- After breakfast, enjoy one final game drive before heading back to Entebbe.
- Depending on your flight time, you may have a chance to explore the local markets or relax before your departure.

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe

- Transfer to your accommodation in Entebbe for a restful night.
Day 2: Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
- Breakfast and early morning drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (approx. 8-9 hours).
- You will travel through scenic Ugandan landscapes, including Kigezi Highlands.
- Enjoy the beautiful views of terraced hillsides and local villages along the way.
- Arrive in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, known for its gorilla populations.
- Check-in and relax, preparing for your gorilla trekking adventure the following day.
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
- Gorilla Trekking in the morning in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
- After a briefing, embark on your trek to find one of the habituated gorilla families in the forest.
- This can take from 1-4 hours depending on the gorillas’ location.
- Once you find them, spend 1 hour observing and photographing the gorillas.
- In the evening, relax and enjoy the tranquil environment of the park.
Day 4: Bwindi to Queen Elizabeth National Park
- Breakfast and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park (approx. 5-6 hours).
- Enjoy the scenic drive, passing through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth, known for its tree-climbing lions (optional stop to spot them).
- Arrive in Queen Elizabeth and check-in at your accommodation.
- Evening boat safari on the Kazinga Channel (optional, depending on time).
- This cruise offers great views of wildlife, including hippos, buffaloes, and various bird species.
Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Game Drive and Boat Safari
- Early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

- Kibale is known for its chimpanzee population, and the park has one of the highest densities of primates in the world.
- Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest.
- A local guide will take you into the forest to track and observe chimpanzees in their natural habitat.
- Spend about 1-2 hours with the chimps, watching them interact and play.
- Evening at leisure in Kibale, enjoying the lush forest surroundings.
Day 7: Kibale to Entebbe – Departure
- Breakfast and drive back to Entebbe (approx. 5-6 hours).
